Our Story

More than music. A place to belong .

The Piano Club is a piano school in Kingwood, Texas — built on the belief that every child deserves a place where they feel inspired, supported, and celebrated through music.

Where It Began

A passion for teaching.

A love for every student

The Piano Club was founded out of something simple and true: a passion for teaching that has always been there. A love for music, for the piano, and — most of all — for the moment a student discovers what they are truly capable of.

Every lesson at The Piano Club is taught with that moment in mind. Young students are guided gently toward confidence, discipline, and self-expression. Adults who have always wanted to play — or who are finding their way back to music — are welcomed with the same warmth and care. There is no rush here, no judgment. Just a teacher who genuinely believes in every person who sits down at the piano.

"It is especially rewarding to witness students discover their own abilities — and to watch that discovery change how they see themselves."
That is the heart of it. Music is not just a skill to be learned — it is a voice to be found. And at The Piano Club, helping each student find theirs is the whole point.

What we believe

Music builds people

A love for music begins with a love for learning. That is the foundation everything here is built on. The goal has never been simply to teach piano — it has always been to create an environment where students feel inspired, supported, and genuinely excited to grow.

Every lesson is designed to spark curiosity and nurture creativity. Music is approached with passion, patience, and purpose — meeting each student exactly where they are and walking with them toward where they can go.

As students grow in their abilities, something else grows too: confidence. The kind that shows up in how they carry themselves, how they approach challenges, how they believe in what they are capable of. That is what music does. And that is what The Piano Club is here to give every single student who walks through the door.

The Community

A place to belong

The Piano Club has always been about more than the music itself. It is about the friendships formed between students who sit side by side at the piano. The encouragement that flows freely in every class. The feeling a family gets when they walk in and know — this is a place that truly cares.

Students here are not just enrolled in a program. They are known. They are celebrated. Every small win matters, every step forward is noticed, and every child is met with the warmth and patience they deserve.

When children feel safe, valued, and connected, they do not just learn music — they thrive. That belief is woven into everything at The Piano Club, from the first class to the last note of every recital.

Meet Our Teacher

Natalia Gutierrez began her piano studies at the age of seven under the instruction of Armenian pianist

and teacher Anush Vardanyan.

In August 2007, Natalia was invited to participate in the II Festival of Puigpunyent in Mallorca, Spain,

During this time, she developed a deep passion for piano group instruction, embracing its collaborative

and engaging approach to music education.

From 2012 to 2019, Natalia served on the faculty of the El Paso Conservatory of Music. In addition to

maintaining a large private piano studio for students ranging from young children to adults, she directed

Early Childhood Music Classes based on the Dalcroze Eurhythmics approach and taught Piano Group

Classes. In 2019, she relocated to Houston with her family.

In December 2019, Natalia joined St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church as an accompanist and has also

served as Children’s Choir Director for both the church and school. Prior to the birth of her second child,

she was a music faculty member at Assumption Catholic School, where she taught music to students in

Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Natalia currently serves as Music Director of The Piano Club, a music school dedicated to cultivating a

lifelong love for music and piano study. Through innovative high-tech piano lab classes for children and

adults, private instruction, and homeschool music programs, she continues to inspire students of all
